A remarkable building in Downtown San Diego. This is a small part (a corner really) of the U.S. Federal Courthouse building, by Richard Meier Partners. The architect, Richard Meier, typically usues very large, simple, and geometric shapes, to form the exterior (and interior) of his modern buildings. And more importantly, his prominent use of the color white. However, you can see here in this courthouse, the exterior is neither simple, nor is it very white. And I like that!
